Usability focuses on how easy a website (or other product) is to use, or more specifically how easy it is for a user to achieve their goal. It used to be called user friendliness! In turn, usability forms part of the broader topic of user experience - UX - which also covers the look and feel of the site, or how pleasant it is to use.
